​Stoked (Stōked): adjective - to be "stoked" is to be completely and intensely enthusiastic, exhilarated, or excited about something. those who are stoked all of the time know this; being stoked is the epitome of all being. when one is stoked, there is no limit to what one can do.

SurfAce Longboards was created to fill a primal need, the need to feel the fluidity of a long point whenever and wherever you are.  If you check any of our smart phones or toolbar bookmarks you will find the links and Apps for weather, surf conditions, and conditions at local mountains.  Based in Doylestown Pennsylvania, it can be difficult to get to the ocean without planning (and a decent excuse to skip work).  This left us with an empty feeling.  In the winter we fill this need primarily with carving up the snow-covered mountains with our kids and friends, but that is only on weekends.  We needed something that would give us the feel for sliding down a wave right out in front of our houses.   Regular longboards and skateboards are fine for transportation, bombing hills and generally screwing around but lack the Stoke. 

 

So long story short, we designed and tinkered in the wood shop and on the road to come up with a board that really makes us smile.  SurfAce Longboards was born.

 

We know that these boards are not for every skater.  We would like to meet the person that could kick-flip or olie and 7 foot board, and we do not recommend bombing serious hills on them.  They are designed and built for the landlocked surfer who needs to slide down a wave, make a big bottom turn, walk the nose and grab a rail when they can not make it to the ocean.
